I need some riding boots that are fully waterproof and can stand wet sand and sea water. I've tried some Muck Boot riding boots a long time ago and found them very inflexible but the newer ones look very different in appearance. Does anyone have any experience of these or can recommend any others to try. Our local tack shop doesn't stock any type at all so would have to be online which I hate for buying boots.

Thank you, I'd thought about trying my muck boots but the tread is very thick and bulky and they're too tight in my stirrups. Do you find your muck boots ok to school in, as might just look for a less bulky pair of them.

Ah I have teeny feet :o size three, so no struggles with stirrups :o, but yes I school in them though they aren't as good to ride in as proper riding boots.

I had the muckboot jodphur boots, loved them. comfortable, warm and waterproof. wore them all the time and rode in them until I broke my ankle. While that was healing I bought some ariet, the muck boots need pulling on and I could not do that, so love those at the moment. with the muck boots I've found I need a size bigger then normal.

I've just bought a pair of muck boots in their sale, size 8 ( more like a 7) and find them very comfortable to ride in. HOWEVER, I found a slight leak after only 3 days, and have found their customer service almost non existant. Could never get an answer on the phone, and after one replied email, over a week ago, no more contact. Very disappointing....

I looooved Muck Boots, I used to get the riding version, they were fab years ago but I thought something must have changed anc I found after a winter they seemed to go at the ankle. Not bad I suppose seeing though they are worn every day but Ive recently tried Grub boots. Tbh I got them cheaply and I dont think they live up to the minus 30 claim, Muck Boots did keep my feet warmer but these ares still going strong, so time will tell x

I had the Muck Boot jodphur boot which I liked, though at the moment I have the Grubbs jodphur boot because it was in the sale. I don't find much difference between them except the ankle is not quite as tight on the Grubbs. Will replace them with whichever is on sale when these wear out.

Loved riding in my Muck Boots (Colt Ryders.) I never had an issue with them being too wide, and they were very warm and waterproof. I’d definitely recommend.
