Are these any good? I have real problems in winter with cold feet yesterday I had 2 thick pairs of socks on plus my welly warmers and Hunters and my feet were freezing :( Had a look at the Muck Boot Tack boots the other day and they seem good but does anybody have them? Do they have good grip? I don't need them to ride in just yard work but I live in my Hunters all day every day so they do need to be comfy... Don't have a huge budget either so thought the tack boots looked good?

After going thorough 2 pairs of wellies and a pair of country boots this year I went for the muck boots co derwent ones. And I love them, live in them all day. I work with horses as well so very hard on my boots, I like the fact that no matter how bulky my legs are plus the added layers of tucked in jeans etc they stretch to the size you need and without rubbing. Find them really warm and only need to wear one pair of bog standard socks with them.
They are a little heavy thou but soon got used to that, I drive in mine and have worn really well, still look new and I've had them 4months.

I have the Just Togs Mudrucker Riding Boots - they're awesome! So comfy, warm and cosy, and you can ride in them. Highly recommended!
I chose the Mudruckers ones as my local tack shop said they'd had lots of the Muck Boots back as they had split, they said they'd not had any Mudruckers back.

As one of the others said get the Muck boots Derwents - better tread on them.:D I have had 3 pairs in the last 10 years - I live in mine doing the horses and also walking the dogs for miles in - even in last winters snow and -15 temperatures I never had more than one pair of socks on and NEVER had cold feet - wouldn't buy another make of wellies now:)

I bought my new Derwents this year - last pair had done nearly 4 years - and they were £53 so over 4 years thats just over a tenner a year - so much better value than Hunters for sure:)
