muck heap

ive had some1 offer to pay and remove my muck heap for me when my new yard is opened. which is great as i needed 2 sort some1 2 remove it , but i fort u had to pay them, so i have no idea whether 2 charge or how much???

also how often do u need it removed?
i will have 8 stabled horses and some living out (no more than 15 altogether)

Well I have to pay the farmer to remove my muck heap and it usually costs £70 for 1 years worth of muck from 1 horse.

Normally you pay them to take it away. However if they want to remove it I would let them have it for nothing as it's one bill less to pay

At my yard there are about 30-40 horses, and the muck heap is removed about every six months by the local farmer. Not sure if he pays/YO pays though =D
