how much would you expect to pay 2 clear a 6 months muck heep,i have one 15 pony and a mini shetland, just muck and srraw thanks

If you are very lucky a local farmer may want some free fertiliser? and either take it away for free or a small charge?

Otherwise I would have no idea :/

Ditto lachlanandmarcus.
A friendly farmer maybe cheaper, but none of my local ones will touch mine:(
Something to do with horse manure needing a longer time to rot down...Not sure if that is true or not, but I have resorted to the grab lorry. I only do one load a year, but really with 3 horses could do with him visiting 2 or 3 times annually. Can't justify the expense though, so part of muck heap just quietly rots down abit on its own. Then, I replace it with more muck!

My friend has never had her muck heap removed she has chickens that keep it in order!! Dont know what they do if they eat it or scratch it away but her chickens seem to live on it she does have about 20+ so maybe if you have horses at home you should invest in chickens!!!!

We pay £50 pound a load we have have just had ours taken after 2 years and it only took 2 loads thats with 2t0 4 horses on being in stable and being mucked out every day and poo picking!x
