Just paid £52.00 for some Muckboots/wellingtons, they are sooooooooo comfy and warm

, they are to replace the joules wellingtons which disapoinitingly split a couple of weeks a go, anyone else on here got these muckboots, the lady showed me some riding ones which were just longer in the leg.

I wear the jodphur boot version and they are great. You can turn the horses out in a muddy field then just hose them off and jump on to ride. Great not having to change your boots all the time.

Wondering if I wil be able to ride in them as I have fenders on my treeless saddle, will find out at the weekend, the soles seem really thick, makes me taller

I love my Muckboots too. I've got the Tack ones, not the riding ones. They keep your feet really toasty, I love them!

I have the riding ones. I am on my second pair - the first pair lasted three winters being worn every day, and was actually still perfectly fine, but a bit grubby. I have heard people say they split, but mine never have. Great boots!

I'm glad that this thread has been started because I'm just in the throws of making my mind up as to which new wellie to buy as old ones have split.

A friend strongly recommended Muck boots and this thread has convinced me!

I'm going to buy the Derwent though for their deep thread because I need them more for mucking out in and dog walking.
I've got load of boots for riding in.

My husband has just bought me Tynes for Christmas, I had a pair before, which were an earlier model and the neoprene and rubber did split, but they were still great. So fed up with having cold feet and changing boots to ride a the moment!
