Good news and a thought to brighten a grey and rainy day.

BigScaryHaynet - your groin strain was 127 yonks ago so you now need to write out 500 times "I must not look for feeble excuses to avoid riding my nephew". Bad back? I have the world's best PINK shavings fork (thankyou YO) that you can borrow - very good for bad backs! Also, I'm sure the whole yard would be prepared to make the supreme sacrifice and walk up and down your back in their muck boots while you lay face down in the mud. I think mucking out is good for you coz its peaceful and quiet and there's a ton of pleasure to be had in setting a cozy bed for your 2 wonderful horses. Mind you, if it was for 220 OTHER PEOPLE'S horses, I'd probably throw myself under a bus! Stay smiling peeps and BSHNet, lovely to see you on the forum again! xxx

Sorry everyone. We have this delinquant Sec D who, although he is rather old and only has one eye, has somehow learned how to take over our computers by horsepower. It won't happen again - honestly honestly.

Not sure falling back on a groin strain will do it any good?!

However, OH has just been to the doc with bad back and been told 'you have a bad back, you must exercise more and develop more flexibility'. So probably mucking out will be the answer to your problems??

Isn't there an old saying about hard work never hurting anyone so perhaps it'll help all those aches & pains after all it's a nice gentle way of warming up muscles before riding (isn't it ??).
