Mucus/membrane type jelly in poo

As title really, a friend at my yard has found a small amount of mucusy/jelly type sunbstance in her horses's poo this evening. Horse is fine, been at a show all day and everything normal. No blood and mixed in with normal poo/fibre...any ideas on what it could be?

If it was me, I'd just chalk it up to "one of those things" and keep a careful watch over the next 48hrs.

She has been up the yard this morning to poo pick and found no more evidence of it and horse is fine so think she will just keep an eye like you said.
