Plan to be taking my two to a show in a few weeks BUT Holly lives out so has seriously muddy legs 24/7 so not sure what to do ?

Can't really take her to a show looking like a bog pony can i?

Its pretty much up to her knees wet mud most of the time...

Blue - not so bad as he comes in at night so can just brush it off in the morning - but he'll have yellowish legs...

I've just been hosing off before going tbh. I shampooed on saturday as had dressage sunday, and might as well not have bothered - the parking at the show was so boggy we had to be towed in!!! So he was filthy again by the time we went into the arena!! I'd say give them a good hose down but don't stress too much!!

I wouldnt worry for dress & sj. I regularily go to BSJA with my yellow/brown tinged grey horse! He also lives out 24/7 although I can let his legs dry off in a stable and then just brush the mud off. WAY too cold to be washing or even hosing! My boy would begin shaking just looking at a hose right now!
