Mud Fever - how to treat it?

Found mud fever on oscar the past weeks, on his hind legs.
My mum has dealt with it before, but just wandering if there is any fantastic stuff to heal it. know you hibiscrub and dry thouroghly and keep out of mud ( if possible

My vets have a Mud Fever Lotion, not sure what is in it, but it's great stuff! I'm sure most vets will have their own concoction that would help!

Hoof to Heel (barrier health) and NAF MSM Ointment both work well, but make sure legs are dry before these are applied. Udder cream is also good. Make sure you apply some barrier cream is still going out.

as piebald sparkle recommends, heel to hoof, ive got a 1 litre tub coming, its brilliant, has cleared up my boys legs, also you could try feeding echinecea to boost his immune system, i fed pro pell...

Echo Echinacea, I pay about £15 a tub and two last all winter(mine hasn't had mud fever since I started feeding this in the winter).
