Does your horse/pony suffer from mud fever or sores on its legs? Do you have a friend whose horse/pony does?
If your horse would benefit from an anti-bacterial protective barrier, in wet and muddy conditions, the following field study may be of use to you.

Researchers at the University of Lincoln are looking to field test the effectiveness of an anti-bacterial barrier cream to help protect against muddy and wet conditions, in horses.

If you feel your horse may benefit and you are interested in participating, simply click on mud fever in blue above and this will take you to the application form.

kind of the wrong time for that isnt it... My boy suffers from it, but its all cleared up now so I certainly wouldnt be any good for it! Would be in January though!

I pointed out the research link on most questions about mudfever this winter.I wish you well, my horse recovered using mudshield powder and sportabac boots but I found the research site really helpful and quick.Good luck
