My ned has quite sore mud rash on the front of his back legs! He is a bit pottery on them so i was wondering if putting something like sudacream or another sort of cream on the and bandage them tonight and the clean it off with hibscrub with the scabs tommorrow and leave them open to heal! I might be wrong but not had to deal with it before!

no bandages! that will make it worse.
Wash with hibiscrub and dry throughly. Sudcream is good. But if it is mud fever you need to get in touch with your vet and sort out some antibiotic cream

Ditto all of this. I made Thumper's mud fever worse by bandaging. And having lost the battle completely have had to have ointment from the vet.

I got Flamazine from my vet, only £7 per tube and lasts for ages.

This is what I was given - 1ltr cost me £8.00

Yes, that sounds about right. It's actually for loss of finger tip injuries but obviously works a treat on mud fever also.
