How did you get on?
I posted to say that I too was doing a long trip of 260 miles, from Bedfordshire to East Sussex in the morning, then to West Sussex in the afternoon and back home again - basically all the way around the M25!
The one I saw in the morning I fell off!!!!
Lost my stirrup in canter and I guess I must have been unbalanced as 'slow and steady' horse took off one way, I went the other!
The 2 I saw in the afternoon were absolute superstars!
Didn't bat an eyelid at the golf ball sized hail stones whilst in the school! Hope to go back to take for a hack as didn't think it fair in the horrid weather and to be honest didn't really fancy it myself either!
Seeing another one tomorrow afternoon, but only a 160 mile round trip.....
