looking into getting myself a pair of the riding boots mudruckers (not the yard version) problem is im very short (5ft) and was wondering if they come up long in leg length?

I had a pair, i'm 5'4 and didn't find them too tall at all. I did find the shoe size came up a bit small so if you want to add thick socks i suggest you go a size bigger.

I have a pair I'm 5'2" and I do find them long, but most boots are on me. I buy heel lifters which makes them the right height, I think Mountain Horse sell them, or you can probably buy them in most shoe shops.
