My New Forest has always been heavy in a french link and had to a lot of transitions to get him off his forehand. Coulpe of time she had put his head down and tried to go but normally can encourage him up again - well until RAF Halton last week. The sod put his head down and well kept going.
We had an old mullen pelham sat in the garage so decided to give it a go - well what a difference. Light in my hands, on the bit, lipstick present and working from behind. Didn't even need a curb on him.
Fantastic - think I've just found my new best friend. Although I do have to admit that should have listened to Becky who comes to ride him and suggested a pelham last year.
