Has anyone used this and had good results? I think I need to get Patrick some sort of joint supplement as he is coming out of his stable stiff in the morning. I have used Cortaflex in the past and not noticed any difference so am looking around to see what else is available. I found this one but don't know anyone who uses it.

I use Feedmark's Extraflex HA and also their Zerobute for Ella. She was diagnosed with arthritis in her coffin joint 5 months ago and has been very lame - even on 2 bute per day. She is now sound and isn't on any bute. I also use magnet therapy wraps every night as well. There is lots of info on Feedmark's website.

Thanks JingleJangle I shall do some research

This was recommended by our local feedstore, and as Cortaflex was costing me so much (we found the liquid one worked better than the powder) I tried it out on the stallion.
Within four days you could tell the difference and after a week he was much freer and sounder. Because of his former broken pelvis he used to be not quite sound when starting work each day, on this supplement he is fine from the start.
It's a lot cheaper and has better results, trust me, I recommended cortaflex until I tried this one.. I reckon we are saving around £14 a month which is quite a lot!

If the Cortaflex didn't work you may find other Glu/MSM/Chon supplements don't either.

I've used Cortaflex and Science with Nature on my horse, and neither made any difference to him at all. FYI I am the feed merchant who told henryhorn about Science with Nature! - you may find a Devils Claw product is better for your horse, all horses are different.

I now use Equine Herbals Devils Claw Flex http://www.equushealth.org.uk/prod_details5.asp , I reckon it costs me even at retail less than a tenner a month - and most importantly, my horse walks out sound (ish!)
