I am looking for a broad spectrum multivitamin supplement that also contains probiotics or yeast cultures. I have ruled out Equine America V-Biotic as it is very expensive! The only other two I can seem to find are Top Spec Comprehensive Supplement (which still works out quite expensive) and NAF Pink Powder. Can anyone recommend?

love naff pink powder.

Can 100% reccomend it. plus it smells nice if i recall correctly

I am still a bit confused, does Pink Powder have vitamins and minerals in it as well as probiotics?! It is certainly cheaper than TopSpec which is what I was swaying towards.

Now I am even more confused, just read an article on the internet which says it isn't safe to feed PRObiotics longterm but it is ok to feed PREbiotics and Yeast. Does that rule out Pink Powder then as I am wanting to feed it as a long term thing. And has anyone any experience of Equine Answers 365 Complete?

As far as I was aware you shouldn't feed pink powder as a long term use - I use NAF Oilovite as all round vit/min supp on my 18yo and he looks really well - it's cheaper than their General Purpose Supplement too

Pink Powder. I emailed NAF and they said it was fine for me to keep Maiden on the high level dose for longer than the recommended month, as she was on box rest. Then when she came off box rest they said it would be fine for her to stay on it long-term.

Pro-bio is a long term supplement - designed to keep gut working well. They also have a short term inital booster supplement.

Delia has had pro-bio for years, and it made a huge difference to her keep weight on and amount of food she required.

Only reason I am not feeding now is that brewers yeast is very good for maintining the gut and I also use it for preventing itching and sweet itch.

Naf pink powder is excellent. It helps my mare maintain her weight over winter and when we've moved yards or had any major changes she can get a little stressed so it works really well in that situation.

SkyHi do you want probiotics or do you want Prebiotics....they arent the same.

What is it you are trying to adress or achieve?
