Mum and dad's dog pts-maybe looking to rehome another GSD

Well as some of you will be aware mum had a bad car accident at beginning of feb and has been in hospital ever since. Dad unfortunately had to have their dog pts on wednesday last week and is sort of thinking about another as i think he feels lonely.

Mum and I dont think it is a good idea but I think dad has sort of set his heart on it as he is feeling rather alone. So if anyone hears of a nice GSD looking for a good home please let me know. Preferably fairly local to Newbury/Basingstoke. Bitch or dog but must be ok with the grandchildren (youngest is 5) and reasonably healthy. They would consider older dogs but would prefer something about 5 or 6 yrs old. Dad is still able to train a dog providing it is not too boisterous.

They will only rehome. Dad has looked on GSD rescue and has a few possibilities!!

Sorry to hear about your Mum's accident and then having to pts their dog.

So sorry to hear about your Mum and Dads old dog, although I know it wasn't entirely unexpected. Presume you have been in touch with GSD rescue, there is also Vigil GSD rescue. I will pm you the name of a lady who may be able to help you.
