Change ebs over today, and she thought it was yummy
but thank god she doesnt just stuff her face, she spends more time digging for the right strand of straw...
but iv put in loads, i think i over did it? cause it wasnt going to go all the way to the matts at the front but the floor looked cold :o ;) and i only had to use 3 bales, cause there not that small :p

Also, has ebs has limited hay, for lunch i gave her a 2 scoops of alfa a oils,
but i was thinking chaff? cause its cheaper for a bigger bag to have a lunch? cause its just bulk!? so she might not go crazyer  would that be ok? so like 2 big round scoops of chaff for lunch?

If you are looking to give her a hay replacer for lunch then Dengie HiFi would be good, you might need to dampen it a little as it can be quite dry. I would imagine that she might explode if you feed her all that Alpha A Oils.

Is she in during the day then? why can she not have hay?

no just plan stores own brand chaff for lunch?

cause we are limited to 20lb per day :)

Just be careful with the basic chaffs as some are coated in molasses which might send her round the bed and can also contribute to laminitis.

Could you perhaps buy in a few bales of haylage to top her hay up?

Also how come she is in during the day? is there no winter turn out?

Oh ha maybe not then :o what about the dryed grass? stuff?
cant bring are own bedding/hay in :) only feeds
there is! but not many people are turning out, and she wont stay out without someone in her field/next to her :(

What a shame, I'm sure she would benefit from going out with her arthritis! Yes there is Readigrass, Grazeon and another, which essentially are all the same, but I think one is without oil. As the packs are really tightly packed, they should last you quite a while and you can either feed dry or dampen. See which one is on offer at your local feed store, mine normally have one on offer.

So i can give her a bucket of this readigrass stuff? :o sorry im so bad at feeds :p
i know i bet she loved to be out too!, im going to see if i can get someone to be turned out with her tomorrow
Thank You :) x
