As Hattikins has had to withdraw Hats from Munstead we're now jump judging on Friday - better than feeling miserable at home. If any of you are course walking or have time to kill please please come and say hi, we'd love to meet you. It's going to be a long day with briefing at 8.15am. We don't have a HHO forum flag to fly (fortunately for the horses!) but we'll be by a blue Nissan Pathfinder. Probably in it as it looks as though it's going to be freezing!

How is Hattie?

Usually get roped into Borde Hill, Firle and Pulborough so I'm sure we'll catch up with you somewhere. Hopefully A will be riding something by those events as well.

Hats is off box rest, didn't help at all. Been turned out for 4 days and ridden very lightly yesterday for first time on vets advice. She's looks fine on the straight but on the turn she still puts in a funny step every so often. Rider can feel it more than you can see it. Vet says that if he didn't know we knew her so well he might think she always went like that ! But any dressage judge worth her salt would pick it up and we wouldn't want to try jumping her either. Strangely she looks perfectly happy back in work, ears pricked and working correctly but every now and again her back end loses connection to her front. She's going for scinitigraphy next Wednesday, I just hope she's sore enough for it to find something.

It sooo frustrating.

I can imagine

Its so much better when you know what you are dealing with, then you can treat it obviously.

Did I miss something about the fracture? Was this not correct?

I may be at Firle Novice or Borde Hill/Pulborough Intro with something new so im sure we will catch up. And hopefully Abbie will be in the saddle then!

Yup, vets are floundering around a lot on this one. Supposed fractured fibula which was why she was put on box rest turned out to a red herring apparently some horses can have several natural breaks in their fibulas. Although I have to say this one did look more irregular than the other one even to my inexpererienced eye.

How are your horses now?

I would have come to see you but i'm there on sat not fri
