I had a jumping lesson on Fri - my 4th jumping lesson.
I had foolishly mentioned to my instructor the day before that I had managed to jump 85cm which I was chuffed to bits with - that's the highest I've ever jumped apart from the one time I jumped 3ft and fell off!!

Well - my instructor had me jumping....3ft3"!!!! I know it won't seem like much to a lot of you but to me it was bloofy enormous!! :)

It was the second part of a double, first part at 2ft9 and the striding set to horse distances. Not bad for a 14hh hairy pony :) I honestly cannot believe the difference that 4 lessons has made to us both. I think Murphy has found his jumping mojo.

Sorry - rather pointless self indulgent post, but my OH doesn't believe me that I jumped 3ft3 which is very annoying and means he is not interested in hearing about it!

That's absolutely brill - I know exactly how you feel about the size of jumps - 3ft 3 is big to me!!! Well done :D

well done!!!!!!!!

you have done better than me i hate jumping!! i swear as i go over a 2ft jump!! there used to be kids at my yard as i shouted oh s**t then landed sorry kids! (they thought it was funny only being 5 and 7 years old)

Well done! Thats huge to me too... you have come so far with him its always lovely to hear your updates!!! what a fabby little pony - you must be bursting with pride!

Well done! I always like to hear from you and Murphy because he reminds me so much of my Auntie's horse and you always do so well with him.

Can I borrow some of your nerves of steel and mojo for my next jumping lesson please? (It would be great if I could try jumping more than half a foot x pole without a. falling off or b. crying like a baby and refusing to do it again!!)

Well done Becks and Murf!!! Your doing so well with him, keep it up. Send me some of your confidence pls, i need a lot where jumping's concerned.
