After my event horse put his back out, we had him "repaired" by chiropractor for him to p*ss around in the field, fall over and put it out again. So chiropractor came out again, put it in and he was still lame behind a few days later.
She then recommended Muscle Release Therapy.. which we agreed to try.
The lady came out, and didn't appear to do a fat lot (so we were v v sceptical!!) BUT the next day when we tried to stroke his neck.. he didn't rush back into his stable whilst swearing at us.. We then lead him out and hurrah he was SOUND!!
The therapist linked his tenderness and extreme sensitivity to when he had a blood infection when he was four, and said his nervous system hadn't fully recovered.
Anyway, this is a quick post to say if you ever get recommended to use MRT I would.. its pretty good IMO.
