Just asked for a bag of thunderbrook museli at local feed shop. £19 in a plain brown bag 😮 God knows how much it would be if nicely packaged like the herbal chaff !!

It's very expensive, but that's probably because it's only one of a couple that make something similar. The bags are smaller too.
I use Agrobs which is cheaper but still expensive. My fussy mare won't eat anything else though.

Agrobs was my preferred feed but struggled to get it. Both have good products wish more feed companies would introduce similar products for better choice.

I feed both the Thunderbrooks chaff I pay £18 for the muesli and £15 for the chaff, I mix them together to make the muesli last abit longer

I looked into meadow grass but unfortunately is too high in sugars and starch for most of my lot . Shame as it seems a good feed

I moved my boy onto Agrobs Muesli in February as he'd gone off FF,....we've not looked back and he licks his bowl clean! One bag has last us 3 months as he's get only a token gesture of the feed to mix his vits and mins with. I've just ordered another 2 bags to last us through the summer months. At £18 a bag it's quite cost effective for us at £6 a month.
