I have a pony who appears to have a craving for mushrooms. We wondered why most of the paddocks had mushrooms on but none on her field. Last night she was turned out on to a fresh field with a bit more grass on, rather than going for the fresh grass she made a beeline for the mushrooms with me in hot pursuit, that was MY supper she was eating not hers!!! Has any one heard of this before? I have had horses for 40 years and I have never had this happen before.
I try and pick them before they spot them; they are quite delicous!
