Music and horses!!!!

[ROMANY 1959]

I have noticed these last 4 or so weeks, while ive been doing Penny or helping at the yard, they have the radio on R2.... its hanging next to Pennys stable, and she sways to certain songs..... I jest you not... I swear she is dancing , she does not do it at all if the radio is turned off. Do horses like music?
she seems so chilled out with the music on.

Whenever I ride listening to music - radio 1 - I always find the horse I am riding goes better... but this might be because i am thinking about the music more than what I am doing wrong and relaxing etc...

we used to have one that if a particulally dancey (sp) song came on he would rush his door and wildly wave his head round... he was totally nuts though!!!!

my sisters horse likes to be the centre of attention, and can't cope if he's on his own, so we play him radio 4.

I swear he thinks that they're talking to him. He just stands quietly and switches off - weird!

We play music in our yard to get the band horses used to the noise, and some horses definatley sway to it! Its very cute!!
