I am doing an unaffiliated freestyle class next weekend for the first time ever. With it being unaffiliated do I still need to send off to BD for that PPL licence thing? I am a BD member so I know it won't cost anything, just wasn't sure if I needed to send off for it with it being unaffiliated.

If you do have to have it then what would happen to people that had entered that hadn't got the licence?

Thanks.

Think you would be best to get one , very unlikely that anyone would get fined but you might as well get one then start doing aff.ones.
The centre probably is not bothered but they will be at fault,I think

Unaffiliated, non Riding Club shows are not covered by BD's agreement with PPL.

However, if you are a BD member you may as well do as carthorse suggests. Sign the short form licence agreement anbd fill out your music record form and send it in, then you have done everything you need to do.
