My cob had some time in the vets for all sorts of things with his front feet and he's been back about a week. In this time we have rotated back onto summer grazing after a week off to have the fields sprayed so there's still some grass in the field (enough but not so much that I have to muzzle). He's never really one for finishing his net at night, especially the small holed net as I think he gets bored of it but i've noticed that for the last 4 or 5 days that he has been hoovering every last scrap of hay. Even during winter at my old yard where we didn't have a scrap of grass he wouldn't finish all of his net so I can't think of much else that's changed other than the vets. Could it be that he's feeling a bit better and therefore eating more or am I looking for hope in what is merely a coincidence?
