Anybody watching it? Its on now.

Just caught a bit of it and some dude in a Muslim place in Birmingham is spealing off absolute rubbish! Like how women will always remain inferior to men and that its ok for an older man to marry a young girl who hasnt reached puberty because their leader did (even though they realise its illegal here)! OMG!

What IS this world coming to???? Its really shocking.

It's called freedom of speech.

We don't have freedom of speach of this country...thus we can prosecute people for inciting racial hatred and making racist remarks

There's freedom of speech and there's encouraging people to brake the law! Telling Muslims its OK to marry a child is fine because its just freedom of speech?? Im sure thats fine in their country but in the UK this is NOT acceptable. If they are in this country, they must accept our laws.

I found this truly shocking!
I know not all people from the muslim faith are extremeists but these guys really give them a bad name!
These guys were preaching in the UK, the ultimate goal is Jihad!

Men and women are not equal etc etc etc....

It's not illegal to say that you believe that women are inferior to men.

But of course, I'm just playing devils advocate.

The bottom line is ... this is a sensitive area.

But its shouldnt BE a sensitive area. Why are we put into this situation? Our country is pretty much a Christian nation (I do not follow any religeon so I couldnt care less!) with laws along those lines, so how dare what is a foreign religeon, start flaunting our laws.

Well without saying to much for fear of being accused a racist...if we went to reside in a Muslim country I very much doubt that we would have Christian churches and Christian schools built for us. This country has gone to the dogs, quite literally.

its just like lots of things now saying 'happy holidays' not happy christmas, because christmas is christian.. not from all other faiths..... so why when there are muslim festivals etc... are their names not censored in public so as not to offend christians? its all madness! personally, i think if you move to a country, you agree that their laws are the ones you have to live by, you have chosen to live there, so you abide by their rules!

very well said.
Interestingly enough it seems only to be the muslims, have you heard of any sorts of protest or this kind of junk form the hindus or bhuddists (im sorry if that is spelt wrong) or jews or any other religious sect? i havent and good on them for moveing into the country, managing to keep thier religion without insulting the dominant religion of the country and not making a fuss, they come here get on with thier lives, i dont see many of them on benefits either and not many of them object at all to christmas, or halloween or easter.

Unfortunatly it is the extremists that give the Muslim faith a bad name, it is the way that they read into the Koran and mould it to mirror their thoughts and beliefs, the Muslim faith is not disimilar to many other faiths.
What I do find sad is through ignorance most people dislike Muslims without really knowing why they think like they do, don't forget it's the way they have been bought up.
There are extremists in many religions for example look at the troubles in Northern Ireland.
I certainly do not accept extremism in any sphere.
As for Buddhism, without boring you, such as extremism is against the ten precepts (a bit like commandments).

I agree with Squirtleys_mum - I think extremists and fundamentalists are a mind-set, not a religion or nationality. I believe that the same psychological processes are in place whether you are a fundamentalist Christian, Muslim, a football hooligan, a member of the BNP, whatever. There is a mind-set among people that they feel the need to make everyone think and believe what they do, and depending on who they are, they just manifest this differently (religion, violence, racism etc).
If we just all live and let live, wouldn't the world be a better place?
Wow, that was a bit deep

To be fair there are many muslims who would find the sentiments expressed in this documentary absolutely horrific. There are many hard working middle of the road assimilated muslims who are proud of being British. They do not make good news though. Its wrong to think ALL muslims believe alike. Remember when in Northern Ireland there were protests terrorizing Catholic children on their way to school because they had to go through a protest area? Well would you want people to watch that and think that that was typical of Christain belief and behaviour?
