Rode yesterday, did my Saturday morning ride, 7 lanes traffic ect ect, then today 3.5 hours, rode through Derby city center to Darley park, parks roads dogs bikes ect ect, well 2 rides on the trot(no pun intended) now, and not one single incident with anything or anyone, well only very very minor doggy interest, Oh and kids trying to break Bus windows by throwing stones at them at the Bus station, must be some sort of record for me, hopefully incidents aren't being stored up for me for another day, and then have a ride from hell, hope not.

Maybe you 'grumpy b*****d' reputation precedes you and the good people of Derby stay indoors when you're around

I took ponio to the beach on Friday. He has been lots of times BUT

not on his own and in pea-soup fog!

Actually, now I think about it, it was bloody stupid, but he was an absolute star and we were fine. Very weird experience though.

The fog was very localised and I was all but there when it got bad, so I just rode anyway. Not adviseable and when I think about what could have happened if I'd fallen off...
