dont know anything about it apart that it looks nice on as i saw a lady wearing it at a show on monday and that the link you posted seems a good price as i recieveed the ride-away catalogue yesterday in which it is priced at £249.99
I tried the navy version of this on at Gatcombe - it feels really nice and light to wear and I was very tempted to buy it as it's supposed to keep you cool in summer/warm in winter, but in the end I decided it didn't quite look smart enough for BD dressage.
ETS: I found the sizes corresponded to my normal clothes sizes, ie. I wear size 12 tops and I found the size 12 show jacket to fit fine.
Ive got tthe navy Musto jacket and it is GORGEOUS and very very smart. I wear it for everything, and it really is the best competition jacket I have worn. I was eyeing up the tweed, but cant really justify it
Kat - I really LOVE the navy jacket but I've been told I am not allowed another navy jacket ( I have 3!) and that if he is going to pay for half of it , it has to be tweed
Have you had a look at Alexander James ?? They have some lovely tweeds. Personally I think a nice brown with your horse - they were a similar price I think, very good to send out swatches of their tweeds.
No I have a bright chestnut and wear green - I was very lucky to inherit a 40 yr old Bernard Weatheril jacket, but if i bought one now I would be looking for a nice brown one
if you went for a darker green it would be fine - quite alot these days seem to be quite bright.
Get loads of swatches before you buy and try them against your horse. Try and get a decent make - personally I think if you buy second hand top quality they look much better than new and cheap
Thank you for that website link - the jacket I want is on special offer so I have just made a purchase...
I don't have the particular jacket you have mentioned but it is very nice and I have quite a few Musto items and they are my favourite brand now, great quality. Sizes seem true to my 'normal' clothes
