I used to ride out with someone who swears by them - I've seen her coming back dry in the sort of Irish rain that can somehow get through other coats. It seems to be very comfortable to ride in and doesn't restrict in any way. If I could afford one I'd definitely buy one and not just for riding as they look good. I've got 3 Musto jackets and love them.
Don't know anything about the sizing of the Suffolk.
