for those who use muzzles, do you use them 24/7 or do you have hours /days with them off?

We've muzzled 24/7 before. Some horses just gorge when you take them off which is even worse, or really have such bad weight problems that they need real restrictions.
We never had any problems with the ponies doing it.

Our pony is lami prone so we use a grass muzzle for the first few months until the field is almost bare 
She only goes out for an hour a day at the moment (she has just recovered from laminitis from which the vet couldn't find a cause for!) and maybe only 4, or 5 at the most, days a week and she is ridden every day.
When she is allowed to go out at night she might have the odd night with it off, but not until the grass is less rich
