Hi, looking for the slight oxymoron of a muzzle that's easier to eat out of so that the fuzzball might be encouraged to at least TRY to eat out of it rather than standing there like Eeyore & refusing to even attempt to understand it.
Currently I have a dinky muzzle & a flexible filly (which I have widened the hole as far as I dare on).
I think part of the issue might be that the grass isn't super long but having experimented there is enough that it does poke to through & is reachable. He will take grass through the holes if I poke it there but is determined it's impossible to do this himself.
Ideally nostril clearance is desired & one that can be worn for relatively long periods & isn't TOO easy to remove.
Muzzle is required as gorging grass is possibly causing him health issues. I'm on a private yard & can't strip graze or put him in his own little patch (he goes thru electric tape) & much as I'd love him on a track livery there just isn't one within reasonable distance. Looking into whether YO would let me try daytime stabling (if he'd settle & not be stressed) but think muzzle would still be needed
