Sorry, I know there have been quite a few rug posts latley.

I am wanting to get Baron a MW turnout with neck cover (either fixed or detachable). Problem is I am on a tight budget of about £60, I know its not much but Im hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I have looked on equestrian clearance and found only one, nothing on ebay really either, are there any other sites I can try? I really would like to get one asap as i want to clip him next week and knowing my luck the weather will suddenly go really cold. So I need one around the 220g weight as I have 2 that are heavier and one with no filling at all. There must be something for around £60.

Or if anyone has one they are wanting to sell let me know. Hes 7ft or sometimes 6'9".

Amigo - lovely rugs - budget price, made by Rambo!!

I had one for Freddy and it really was a super rug. Comes with detachable neck cover which is ordered seperately.

Equestrian clearance had some weatherbeeta around that price, middleweight and with necks last week when I looked. I ordered a rug from them but I think it was heavyweight. Check their website as they usually have good bargains.

I use the Weatherbeeta Landa 220g rug at this time of year - winston is fully clipped (including legs) and he is very happy and warm in his

how about premier equine international??
Unfortunately, i don't spend much on my horse for rugs, as he just trashes them, so he has to look like a tramp and have the cheapo ones!

Ive just found a Landa on the equestrian clearance. Do you advise the combo (one with the fixed neck) or the one with the detachable neck?

I have the one with detachable neck - as like today he doesnt need the neck - however, I do have a neck (the landa lite) which has no fill and i stick that on when its really wet!

The only rugs i have which are combos are the heavy weights for mid winter.

Unless of course you are planning to use this as your main rug of the winter? then perhaps you should buy the combo

I've got the Amigo with neck cover on trial for one of the horse mages (the pea green coloured one) and it will be getting the worst write up ever!

Used it on saturday and one heavy shower later and poor lad was drenched round his neck where theseam for the neck cover is.

Personally I wouldn't even bother wasting my moey and will stick with Mark Todd, Premier Equestrian and Masta in future.

That's the 2nd Rambo/Amigo rug I've had and both have been pants!

Equestrian clearance had the landa combos on there today for £49.99, they're 220g. I prefer the combo's as they have fixed necks rather than the neck covers as they always seem to leak, but each to their own!!
