My 11 week (tomorrow) pup can't really want to bonk me, can he?

Excuse the title....it was more politely put than what I was going to type!

Harvey keeps grabbing at my arm with is front feet and gyrating/thrusting his hips. Obviously I stop him, but surely he's not really trying to do "that" at such a young age.....is he?

Only happens when I wear my pink fleece. I think he might fancy it!

It happens with young male pups - they do it through instinct so dont really know what they are doing

Give him a sharp tap on his bum, he will soon realise it is not the behaviour you are looking for

Young females as well...

Our female JRT occasionally tried to 'hump' OH's leg - teenage hormones running amuck I expect. She was spayed at 9 months, so it def stopped after that.

Stella has humped three dogs in her seven years: a female beagle, a female Border terrier, and just last week a male Boston terrier. I have a sneaking feeling that Prince is going to be number four in her hump quest.

Cheeky puppy. I cannot work out what was wrong with Jasper, our old dog. All of these things are new to me...he didn't do anything like this, or the biting, chewing.

GAH! Bring back Jasper!

Only kidding...he's a poppet 80% of the time but I do bear a few chew marks.

I will be counting down the days until he's old enough to be castrated at this rate!

He seems to be in love with this pink fleece! Jasper never mounted anything, ever. He was mounted by other dogs a few times and worryingly only growled when they got off!

Our Collie bitch, the eldest in our pack, she is 13yrs tries to hump our Spinone bitch at times I get the feeling its a dominance thing with her, she tries to hand strip her whiskers with her teeth, as well if you get my drift

Yellow Dog went through a stage of doing that to his green rabbit when he was little - then he ripped the head off it and he never did it again

Is it not more of a dominance thing than sexual?
My JRT will hump his son if he gets too silly and humps his blanket if he's ever a bit stressed/worried..
