oh yikes! i've only had him a week and been having some lovely fun hacks on him. went out with a friend today and investigated a new route. well, as soon as we hit the Downs, mine was dancing on the spot and bunny hopping. i was all ready to be tanked off into the blue yonder! but no, luckily he was a good boy and eventually settled down once he realised we werent gonna just go. i made him walk for about 5 minutes, then my friend said let's go! blimey, talk about walk to flat out in 5 seconds! i left my friend standing!!! her Dales gave up trying to keep up and she's half my pony's age. anyway, i pulled up half way along the track to test my brakes and let my friend catch up. luckily the brakes are in good nick!! and off we went again. i dont think i've ever galloped so fast in my life, i was buzzing for ages after!!
just thoght i'd share that with u guys! it was amazing! after 8 days, i am in no doubt that this pony is the right choice for me! oops, probably jinxed myself now.
