Rather self indulgant, but took my 4yo SJ today. He's been to Norton Heath & done their Monday Clear round a couple of times. Last Sunday I took him to an unaff show & he just had 4ft at the first fence
(to busy looking at all the people in the gallery!!)
Today he was great. Warmed up fairly well, given it was fairly busy, once he'd got over all the people cantering around him. However once he got in the ring, he popped round for a lovely clear. In the jump off, he'd decided he now knew what he was doing!!
He flew round for another clear & 3rd place.
Sooooo pleased with him. He's now going to have a break from competing until the new year. Lots of hacking with a bit of schooling, I think.
I can't wait for 2007 now.
