Can anyone tell me why when my dog is feeling off colour he is always sick on my best expensive shaggy rug!
I only noticed it by accident (I,.e,. stepping in it) I have a nice tiled kitchen floor and porch but no I always have to scrape it out of the long pile

Yay lucky you! Sounds a bit like the only time I left the lounge door open when I went out, and my GSD had a horrendous episode of the trots, in the lounge of course, all over my cream carpet, my new rug, and I can only assume the local cats came into the garden because there were poo-paw-prints all over my French windows. Of course the poo-paw-prints continued throughout the hallway, kitchen, up the stairs and all over the landing.

I seem to remember smelling it before I had even opened the front door!

How I managed not to vomit whilst clearing it up I will never know :-)

I had a cram rug on the floor i my lounge. My friends lab girl came in one day, trotted right through the house, down the corridor nd into the lounge, to pee on my rug. She went with intent. She had never done anything like that before or again. Just that cream shaggy rug. I ended up soaking mine in the bath to gt it clean, and then hanging it over the washing line for days to get it dry. Only for mine to then pee on it. Did that several times, and then I decidd a rug was a waste of time. Sometimes the dogs just make an interior design decision
