Yes it's gross!

I have had my boots for years, I love them, they're really comfortable, and fit well. I'm a 9 (43) with skinny feet so getting ones that fit is hard work.

They've always been fine, but last few weeks they've started making the soles of my feet peel, imagine something that looks like a large blister but it's just air under it, and not sore.

Feet currently look manky. Has anyone else had this? How did you stop them doing it? Can't really afford a new pair and they're not damp.

I have had this before - it looks a bit like new potato skin !? I think it was more of a reaction from having wet feet a lot than just a single pair of footwear. perhaps try letting the air get to them for a bit ?

Are you wearing different socks than you would in the winter, it must be your feet not the boots if it doesn't normally happen.

Soak them in Tea trea oil, moisturise them over night

I would let your boots air really well, and perhaps pop to the Drs incase you have a bit of a fungal infection going on that is making your feet peel as you describe. They can give you a cream to shift it in no time. Cotton/natural fibre socks and well aired shoes/boots should help prevent it in the future, though it is sometimes tricky in wet weather with favourite boots that are always worn!
