My boy about to foal!

Just confirmed. My gelding who has always had a large tummy has just been diagnosed in foal, any day now.

I have boiled water at the ready and lots of cotton buds.

My real worry is that at 20 years of age, is this too late for a first foal? I am really worried for him!

Any advice gratefully acepted.

Hahaha someone at my yard told me my boy looks pregnant with twins, hes on 2 soaked sections of hay at night and turned out overnight.... problem is he has been out of work for a couple of months and exploded in size!! A lot of people have asked if "shes pregnant?" (joys of owning a grey girly looking horse called snowy)

And my 21 year old TB gelding is also having twins - he looks like a space hopper on sticks....
