I apologise if this is in the wrong section, but I just wondered if anyone recognised my Big Boy?

He's been with me almost 18 months, an ex racer, 16.1hh I won't go into long details but he came to me from someone who got him from a private home in the Grantham area (croxton Kerrial, Redmile, that way on)

I apologise for the pictures but they're the better ones I have of him where he's not being an idiot in the field, pulling faces or are just plain blurred....

Definately not the greatest pic but you can see his funny star

Thanks for taking the time to look

No, no white markings, white scarring in the nearside hind heel that looks like grey flecking....

He's by Alzao, who apparantly sires a lot of araby heads....

He's been rather ill of late which is why I want to try and his old owner, to see if anything like this has ever flared up before....the vets are still rather baffled, and he'll be diagnosed with something, seem to doing better then something else will knock him for six.

He's in a permanent home for the rest of his life (he's coming 20 by the way) I'm just trying to establish any background that may help my vet get a better understanding of what we're dealing with.

Thanks Izzi, yes I've emailed 2 of his previous trainers, on the fingers crossed, down on my knees praying chance that they remember him or have some info on any problems he had whilst he was with them....His old owner can't have changed his ownership as she isn't listed.....

I do know her name if anyone is out that way, which I could PM, she was involved in (I think) P2P.....

Thankyou HappyHack, he is rather a sexy boy isn't he lol though trouble is he knows it, with a right "Look at me" attitude.

Ive lived in and around Grantham all my life, do you have any names of his previous owners? PM if you prefer! Lovely horse by the way, very pretty boy!

What a gorgeous smexy boy you have their with the face of an angel! His condition is a credit to you. I would be really interested to hear about his symptoms and what the vets have said ?
