Lovely, I remember those yearling times!! I remember mine looking like a complete ugly duckling with a neck that was too long for him etc! He's 2 now and I brought him out of the field today and my god has be bulked out and changed, looks like a 3 year old at the moment instead of 2, (probably because his front end has finally caught up to his backend!!) he's also widened through the chest, which makes him look in proportion to his huge chest!!! I love seeing how they mature and change and keep you guessing!!! good luck with yours, are you going to do any shows this year? How's he bred?

Hey Sarah:D:D

Lovely to see Danny on here, even though I see you on FB as well.
Are you showing him this year at all? How are your other youngsters doing? How many do you have? I lose count! Who is Socks by the way, is that they grey Welshy?

I wouldn't dare put a photo of some of my yearlings on here yet, some look like cut and shuts, and they all still resemble a bunch of motheaten yaks.:(

Yes hopefully :) cant wait to get him out. going to take him to a few local ones. Hes so special to me, my first bred, watched him being born :D every second. we nearly lost him at 4 months, he had a blackthorn infection in his pastern joint and only due to us phoning the vet so quick and our vets being amazing they saved him. Not going to over bulk him for the ring just let him grow himself :D.

His father (Mas mitch) is a coloured warmblood who came third at the grassroots champs last year and his mum was a TB mare mackintosh chime who we lost a few weeks ago :(
