So, as the title really.....

Rode my boy back to my house yesterday and turned him out on my rather overgrown garden. Spent a couple of hours munching on the grass there before snoozing for the best part of 2 hours in the sunshine. Didn't do quite the 'mowing job' I'd hoped for!
Went down to get him out of the field for a hack this afternoon and his poo is rather runny. Not quite cow pat consistency but looser than is normal for him.
Is this as a result of him grazing on my lawn for a couple of hours or something I should worry about? My daughter's pony who was also turned out on my lawn yesterday has poo more or less normal for him, maybe slightly looser than normal.
My boy is his normal self, bright eyed and more than willing to go for a hack today. Am I worrying about nothing? :(

Probably just from being out on nice new grass, should settle in a couple of days. time to worry if hes showing signs of colic but i think a lot of horses have runny poop atm, including mine :-)

Its only because he has been turned out on ungrazed land and it is probably quite fresh grass - resulting in cow pats.

Unless he is showing signs of colicking he will be fine!

Thank you! I'm such a worrywort where he is concerned! Deep down I know it's probably down to being turned out in my garden but I can convince myself quite easily that it could be something else. :(
He's not showing any signs of colic, and like I said, he's his normal, happy self. Just needed a little reassurance :o
