I'm trying to loan out my pony while i go travelling. I've had him 8 years on loan but dont officially own him. I had always planned to loan him from me then get him back rather than his owner being involved. Spoke to her yesterday though and she said she'd love me to be his proper owner. I'm so happy
So for the first time I'm going to attempt some pics to show you him
I got Bailey 8 years ago when I was 15. His owners had rescued him in a bad way from a dealers. He was very thin and due to neglect and abuse he was very aggressive and vicious. They did a great job with him getting him to trust people again and while he is still a monkey and can be quite boisterous he would never try and hurt anyone now. As a rider though his owner was very nervous and novice, so when i took him on loan he could walk trot canter and jump but that was it. he was completely unschooled, had no enthusiasm for anything. was lazy, nappy, lacked confidence in jumping, stiff, went around like a camel etc etc!
8 years of hard work and fun later and these days he is unrecognisable. He is 19 this year but showing no signs of slowing down. I'm going to be so sad to be away from him but i cant miss this opportunity to see some of the world. At least i know now though he is mine for life
so fingers crossed here should be some photos of my beautiful boy. apologies if they are enormous or tiny i dont really know what im doing!!!!
