and them saying hello after not being together for a couple of weeks

I just hope when I get back this afternoon they are both still in one piece

BH isn't getting scanned as he is far too sound to take the vet and nerve block/scan. We are going to see if he stays sound and whip him in quick when he goes lame rather than search for a needle in a hay stack with no blocks. Hopefully he just won't bother going lame and I won't have to take him in, but that's asking for a lot and he'll probabaly be hopping by the time I get there tonight!

I hope so. I'm more worried about her tbh. She has an amazing ability to get into mischief

Am a bit nervous to even go and look!!

So good to see someones horses out in the sun ....
If all goes to plan (fingers xx'd) then Big Fuzzy can go in a pen at the weekend (tho this will prob be treated as a circus arena  whatever size it is!)

Fingers crossed for you missus that all improves :)

yea don't even know what to say about her - she seems to have a death wish  Maybe it's a teenage thing? Live fast and die young

Hope they get better soon! It's such a pain when they are out of action. My boy is just getting naughtier and naughtier because he was so fit having been lunged or ridden 6 or 7 days every week for the past 3 months and now has to do nothing. Bounces around on the lead rope like an overgrown puppy.

TFF- fingers cross BF is allowed out for a bit. BH looked calm when I left but there are some good skid marks tonight so obviously got air-borne at some point

Wagtail, bless him. I really do hope he comes right for you. He's such a gorgeous chap. I know no one will try harder for him than you so he's with the right person :)

glamourpuss- I'll definitely get one sound one I'm sure. Else I'll just buy a third :p Will definitely see you out soon! :D

Pleased to report all calm when I got there tonight. Nitty seems good on her feet and no pulses, feet look good. Apart from the one she won't pick up for me due to the enormous gash. I can't see that one! Fair enough though I reckon.

BH still sound so far. Am crossing all my bits that I can cross!

Thank you all for the vibes. I need them with my two :D

?????????????????????????????????????? can someone tell me the story please :o:D;):D

Not very exciting really. BH decided to come in lame one evening a couple of weeks ago. Sound the next morning, lame again after turnout, sound for the vet Weds but lame Thursday. So then he had two weeks box rest and was booked in for nerve blocks and a scan (vet suspected and still does if it's anything a suspensory). Anyway, he was sound yesterday after two weeks in his box so no point getting him worked up so he's out and we'll see if he stays sound or not. Hopefully it was just a bang or a sore muscle.

Then, because Nitty is evil (despite her cute appearance) she decided that the trim she got on the Saturday BH had to stay in was far too much and she couldn't stand on her feet. DP in all four and hobbling about. Box rest for her. After a week, put her in the school and she promptly ran into the mounting block and gashed her leg open.

So nothing too dramatic but both of them being bust at once has rather worn me down!!

Funnily enough I thought of Nitts earlier when I caught my TB and found she'd cut into herself - exactly opposite the same spot on the other hind leg she did on Monday..... Do you think if we went into business together as a company that looks after your
TB whilst the owner goes on holiday we would still be in business after 3 months :D
