My CBX Xmas Present!

My OH has outdone himself this year!!
Below is a pic of my new horsey, Aston. He's a 7yo, 17hh hunter type who I got last week, thinking he would be loads of work to school up.
I was amazed that after 5 minutes of schooling, he dropped nicely onto the bit and there he has stayed ever since! He has been out of work since the early summer, so it will take time to build his muscles up. But what a star he is! Turned his hooves to shoulder-in and travers yesterday without batting an eye. Nice big jump too.

Thank you all for the nice comments!! He's very steady and sensible but will be great fun once he's tuned up.
He's now out enjoying his first roll in the paddock
