i have 3 bantam hens, 1 black 1 white and 1 grey. the grey one has always been abit bossy over the black one but today i put them in their run on the lawn and the black one was desperatley trying to get out, so i removed her and put her back in the house, the white and grey one were chasing her so much she wanted to get out. i tried her again after lunch and the grey and white one started chasing her and grabbing hold of the back of her neck. i have removed the grey one this time as she seems to be the instagater, the white one has left her alone now but black one is still very cautious, i feel really sorry for her, have i done the right thing by taking the grey one out, what do i do now?

Hens have a distinct hierarchy/pecking order - the top ranking ones have full, glossy plummage, the bottom ones can look, well, hen-pecked.
Maybe if you got some more hens, it would take the focus off your black hen.

Oh, and why does your post title sound like spy code to me?

the grey one has been picking on the black one for a few months but they usually just get out the way of eachother. both the grey and the white were chasing the black one and hanging of the back of its head this morning, i had to break them up, i removed the grey one earlier and left the white and black one out and they are getting on fine now they grey one has gone but i dont know what to do now, and what i can put on the back of the black ones head so when they peck her they get a nasty taste in their mouth
