I fed the family 'horse carrots' for Chrismas lunch ;), I didn't see the point of buying any more from supermarket at twice the price when I had a perfectly good supply in the barn. OH spilled the beans before we ate & luckily my thrifty M-in L saw the practical side.
Any body else want to get things of their consciences?.....

Clean car would not start so had to take the truly disgusting horse and hound Jeep into London yesterday. Not helped by taking 4 unwilling staffords out for a walk first thing, 1 of whom had legged into the car, over the crate and danced the Staffie wall of death inside before being retrieved.

Quickly wiped over inside, took out most wet dog blankets...

And waited till it was really dark before giving the obligatory lift back to 2 family members. God knows what they will find on their nice clean London coats this morning!

One of my classes in school had a little Christmas party and all the students had to bring something. I thought I'd go all out and bring my homemade cheesecake. Everyone loved it, especially the little edible decorations of Santas, robins, Christmas tress etc. I didn't tell them the decorations were 3 years out of date though, and they tasted fine!;):D
