My cob has a big nose

Bought her a new bridle and all is fine apart from the noseband its so tight. Looks like I will have to buy another one, is there a certain style that's best for cobs?

You could just get a bigger noseband if you can match the leather? I have a few bridles that I bought as individual pieces rather than as an entire bridle, mine are Jeffries, as that way I could mix and match sizes. My old horse had FS nose/brow, and the rest of the bridle was CS.

Good idea, I wonder if I buy a second hand Sabre Cs it may have stretched a bit. Thank you, you have got me thinking.

If it;s Sabre, they come as individual parts as well. You could buy the next size up and sell the noseband you have now.

If there is room on the strap punch in another hole to make it longer.

Could she just go up to a full size. My general rule for bridles is all fastenings to be done up on the middle hole, or smaller to let it stretch.

I think sabre do come up small, always had sabre for my tb but cob fits best into Jeffries. But you always just try a fs bridle.
