this is my boy a few months ago..cripped with laminitis, pedel bone rotation.. we almost had him put to sleep...

this is him today..

full of life and back in work.. totally differant pony.. never thought i would ride him again... thanks to my great vet and getting rid of the barefoot trimmer...his shoes went back on after a yr barefoot...

yes 2 a day.. hes also insulin resistant... cant belive the differance in him. hes always been slow and lazy, i've had him 12-13 yrs, now hes like a little TB, wanting to race everywhere..hes mid 20 ish yrs old.. he thinks hes 3 again..

Being upset that my 23yo has recently been diagnosed as having Cushings, and therefore put on prascend, seeing how well your pony looks and hearing that he feels like a 3 yo again has really cheered me up x

it give him a new lease of life.... i blood test twice a yr just to see how hes doing.... he had laminitis for a while, took his shoes off , got a bf trimmer. they made a mess of his feet, i got all the pictures of his feet before's in between's and afters... quite shocking.. he was crippled for a yr, thinking it was lammi, was not, was the trimming. although he did have lammi at 1 point.. 1 trim from a farrier with vet prescent he was perfectly sound again... so angry i let someone do that to him..
