So we had been offered the use of a good friends 14-3/15h gee-gee for my daughter & my wife to compete in a dressage show for a local RC show today. (& if she ever ventured on to the forum - Thank you!)
Anyway, my daughter went in to the basic walk/trot PC test. The original intention was to have the pony on a lead-rein but having seen her on the pony I thought it would be OK to jog by her side (just in case she did have a whoopsie! - she has only been riding for a few months) So we done the test with no mishaps & no input from me! & she remembered the test fine. End result, 11 in the class, she came 7th in her 1st competition!

So the trouble n strife" takes the same pony in a Prelim class 2 hours later, she asked me to call for her even though she was adamant she knew it. This proved to be a pointless exercise as the wind was so strong she didn't hear a ruddy word! Anyway she done the test with no errors, she had a massive grin on her face all through the test. Just riding something that was well schooled caused this effect I later found. So her result, 8 in class, she came 1st!!
